Licensed contractors educated in seismic retrofits are the backbone of CEA BB’s success. You can help your clients protect their houses and gain valuable skills to help market your business by taking a free online FEMA Education Course to be eligible to join the Contractor Directory.
CEA Brace + Bolt offers select policyholders up to $3,000 in incentive funds towards seismic retrofits and if they aren’t a “do-it-yourselfer”, they may select someone from the Contractor Directory to receive bids and begin their retrofit projects. As a licensed contractor, you can be added to the Directory by completing the free online FEMA education training.
In addition, once you complete the training, you can also receive a Brace + Bolt FEMA-Trained logo to use on your website or in printed material in addition to other marketing materials, including yard signs and brochures.
CEA BB was developed to help select CEA policyholders reduce the risk of damage to their older house during an earthquake with a “code-compliant” brace and bolt retrofit.
As an accommodation to individuals that may have some need to have a third-party representative complete the CEA BB Program Application, we provide the Registration Authorization Form.
